- Post-Graduate Degree in Economic, Financial and European Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law of the Coimbra University in 2001

- Traineeship at the law office of Dr. António Osório de Castro, former President of the Portuguese Bar Association, between 2000 and 2002;
Practices law continuously since 2002:
- Between 2002 and 2003 in the law office of Dr. António Osório de Castro, former President of the Portuguese Bar Association;
- Between 2003 and 2007 in the law office of Dr. António Ribeiro Baguinho and Dr. João Miguel Barros, in the Special Administrative Region of Macau of the People’s Republic of China;
